Hey there, my name is Dave Cohen, and i am quite happy to have been introduced to this forum by a certain normbaits.

I have recently purchased a Canon GL-2 camera. I edit on a 667 mhz/1gig RAM G4 powerbook, using Final Cut Pro and Adobe After FX. I am also quite obsessed w/ analogue synthesizers and sound design/creation, i have a small studio where i record really weird music and do some soundtrack/design work w/ my movies.

Current project is a screen adaptation of Harlan Ellison's "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream."

My favorite movies include "2001: A Space Odyssey." "The Shining," "Mulholland Drive," "Requiem for a Dream," and tons of weird B horror movies.
My favorite bands include Skinny Puppy, Coil, SWANS, and The Angels of Light.

Hey Dave-

I'm also a huge Kubrick fan (not all his stuff, but he's pretty consistent). I loved Mulholland Drive. It actually inspired a short I wrote recently called, 'moaner'.

I also do sound stuff. I mostly toy with analog loops and use to do remixes for local artists here in LaLa Land. I don't do as much of that these days, since it doesn't pay the rent and now I love doing this video thing more.
