Hi - DC area newcomer

Hi from Springfield, Va -

I live about 10 miles outside of DC and just got my XL2 today!
WOO HOO!

I'm hoping to volunteer for any DC area shoots coming up in the next year. My background's in acting and writing - my off-camera experience is negligible. However, I can carry stuff and fetch coffee with the best of them and I just want to meet some folks, observe, and learn.

Glad to be in the community...
