Fairly new to the site but have been a lurker for awhile. Just bought an XH A1 with the goal of making some training vids at work. I'm on our bomb squad at work and feel that we should be able to get some pretty good footage.

Previously used an older Sony camcorder that did OK for some things, but was lacking for others. After getting the Canon, it feels a bit like information overload. Anyway, there appears to be a HUGE wealth of knowledge with the membership here so I'm hoping to learn. I'm more than willing to share any knowledge I have, just not sure it'd be that useful to the people here :-)

Welcome! How do you like the XH-A1? I was planning on getting that camcorder when i had the funds.
