I bought a DV Cam, a Canon Elura, when it came out with the intention to use it and never did. I am seriously going to give it a go again. I've purchased a Glidecam HD-1000 after lurking on this site forever. I have the intention of trying to do good looking amateur shorts, mainly "outdoor porn" of the paddling genre. I had a couple of gopro's but the river claimed them. So the Elura it is.

any other Richmond'ers about? Any who can help me with the ins and outs of balancing a steadycam?

After a while I plan on a Panasonic GH3.

This oughtta be fun.
