Charles! Freehold!

Hey Charles:

I love Freehold. Next door to the Freehold Raceway Mall is the best Sam's Club ever. It's the only place I can get my Laird's 12 Year Old Rare Apple Brandy and Small Batch Bourbon Collection for the best price.

Yup. Freehold's the place.

Sams club has closed down

Hugh,

Bad news. The Sams club has closed down. Good news. They relocated, out of the mall complex, west on 537 about 2 miles. Being owned by Wall Mart they built a small campus consisting of the new Sams Club and a huge new Wall Mart.

Being freelance I would take my daughter to run around in the old Sams Club when I wasn’t working. She could not stop moving for the first 2.5 years of her life.

We now run around the new Sams with her new sister.

We will have to go to a park some day.

Charlie

Hugh DiMauro December 14th, 2006 09:55 AM

No! Forget the boring old park! Continue to expose your kids to the joys of responsible shopping! I wish I had a Sam's Club when I was a wee lad instead of some boring old park! :-)

Check out their wines and spirits section. Awesome!

Hello from New Jersey

I do work in a TV station based in NY/NJ, part of Network in the hispanic market.
My job title is called: Master Control Operator / Technical,

My duties are:

Monitors, maintains and controls the outgoing signal and computer program that drives the air servers (Louth Automation).

Switches programming, counts in and out of live events.

Tape operator supporting the master control operator (MCO), loads required program and spot tapes into tape machines or servers for on-air playback. Cross-checks identifying slates of programs with the MCO.

Performs duplication, compilation, and transfers for general company and client use.

Robotic Camera Operator.

On my spare time I do work on my own, I have a small business http://videoideas.tv
There I perfom several things, have 3 people working with me (freelancers) we produce an post produce local spots for radio and tv, DVD authoring and internet solutions.

I personally own equiptment, cameras, FlowCam GT from Varizoom (started learning how to use), vtr's, audio gear, etc.

I'm doing this business for about 18 years and I love it!, I started back in 1988 using the SONY CCD-V220 8mn tape format and the Videonics, hehehe.

Production and post is my hobby and work too, in the summer time I still do social events videos, and the equipment pays for it, I personally think that I need more time to play with my stuff and make more money with it!

Hey I'm a freelancer as well. I'm based in Ventnor City, just south of Atlantic City. I see there are a few in the immediate area. This is a great site. Almost forgot to mention my camera. I have an XL2 and I just picked up a XHA1.

New Member/Owner Xl-2 In New Jersey

Hello everyone!
I bought my XL-2 about 5 months ago, and i've only used it twice, and i was shooting in easy recording mode both times, i'm looking to learn as much as i can about this camera and was wondering if anyone here knew of any clubs in new jersey where owners get together and collaborate on projects? if not i'd like to start one! i don't have any projects to speak of but i'd like to help anyone that might need a second camera angle for whatever they're shooting,i'm currently taking digital editing classes and i'm working with a Mac G-4, so if your in the tri-state area and are interested let me know!
i've shot some footage and posted it on youtube i'll include the links at the end of this thread, i'd just like to learn how to use all the shooting modes and how to work with wireless mics and in different lighting situations, any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank You!
SCOTT
