ND filters - why is it 0.3, 0.6????
Hi There
Can anybody come up with the explanation, why ND filters have a 0.3 unit for dampening the light one stop? I mean it would be far more to use ND1, ND2 in stead of 0.3 and 0.6 for loosing one and two F-stops. Any help would be much appreciated as I would like to cast some light on this (;^)) in my lighting class tomorrow. Thanks! |
A little Googling turns up lots of good answers to this question. Here's one:

Thanks a million.
Hi.
Super! That is the problem when you Google subjects like that in your non native language. I did Google for the answer, but apparently not with the right trigger worlds. Your kind help was just what I needed. Thanks a million! The very best |
That's funny! In reading your post, I would have never known you didn't speak English as your first language. Only after your reply did I notice that you were in Denmark. Glad to be of service.
