Anyone ever purchased one of these, like the webfilmschoool.com course? I was just curious cause I was looking for for some info on learning writing and directing. I'm cluless.

Anyone?

Adam,

You might want to give these sites a look-see. They have several links that might be of use to you:

Film school is best for networking, whether in the industry (like L.A., New york, Vancouver, Miami, etc.) or even just with other students. I don't like that you can't network with filmmakers in your area at school.

Of course, I'm biased since I work at a film school. <g>

Got to agree with Heath on that. Networking is everything.

I still work with one of my fellow students from 9 years ago, Grant Balfour, who has scored most of my films and co-wrote and co-starred in my first feature, Skye Falling. But ol' Grant has gotten married and adopted a girl, and has a young stepson, so he pretty much just works on music scores for me.
