Interactive Video

Hi all,

We're looking to place a product on a revolving turntable, and then film it for a whole rotation. Ideally we'd then like to be able to have the video on a site, but in such a way that users can select a left or right arrow and rotate around it at their leisure.

Could anyone tell me by what process to achieve this and applications to use. Ideally we'll get in a contractor, but at the moment, not sure in what field to begin looking.

Thanks,

Ry

there are several ways to do.
since you seems to say it will not be live pricture, VRML is the way to go.
There are many ways (plugins, quicktime, java) to show a rotating object , the same way you use to show panoramic views (in fact it is the same).

If you want to go to live pictures, it is a bit more difficult.

I think you'd be looking for someone to design it in Flash. Essentially creating "buttons" in places the would click on. It's pretty simple to make the button "goto" (ie goto a new page, a new question etc) but I never made it "scroll (left or right).

Still, I would try going in that direction unless someone knows otherwise.

Flash, definitely.

Ca it be done in Adobe Encore? I have a similar situation I need to deal with. Or should I use adobe flash program to do it all? Thanks!
