		Just sayin.... that's just a theory that I came up with.  Ya gotta know that pretty much everything boils down to economics in the business world.

		I don't know if longer means boring, more perhaps the ideas and stories in quite a few films don't sustain their length, combined with the fitting a formulae for a particular age range. The traditional 90 minute feature was part of a double bill and quite a few of the current A movies are based on B movies, some of which were great, however, most were less so.  
	Some TV programmes are long multi part serials. I'm currently watching a Danish thriller called "The Killing", which is very slow, but is very dark and intense with interweaving character story lines. I believe the rights I've been bought for a US TV remake, whether it'll successfully make the leap to another culture is another matter.  |
