Studios form alliance to fight piracy
Disney, Time Warner, Sony, Viacom, News Corp and General Electric have created a joint venture called "MovieLabs" with an initial budget of $30M to study the issues of piracy and develop ways to combat it.

How about a studio alliance to make movies people want to see?
If people are willing to watch camcorder-based knockoffs of films it should be sending message. The studios need to become netflix. |
