ENG can be brutal, but...

If you assume too much, this could turn out quite bad...

What is your point Jack?

She was clearly in the wrong and I am glad she got fired. She was there to cover a tragic event, not purposefully injure children. I don't see anything to assume. The video clearly shows what she did.

Just making sure no one's thinking about the general Hungarian attitude causing this or if the Govt. put her up to it. Conspiracy theories tend to fly rampant when sensitive issues happen like this. Politics and ENG practices should not mix.

Yes, it could be as straight forward as it was just she did the wrong thing, but it's when people theorize "why?" that things go downhill.

Sheesh, I'd think at something as possibly violent as refugees trying to escape police you'd give them a bit more leeway. She's just being malicious.

I've been at events with huge crowds where everyone is shoulder to shoulder inching forward and I'm in the middle of it trying to get the shot. Then the gates open and everyone stampedes to whatever it is we're at. In those situations the bumps add character to the video until my security guy plows people away from me, good times.

Sadly enough if that was in the States and it was a Mexican refugee people would probably be making her out to be a hero.

She is no hero and no professional. She got fired. She should have been fired. Any one else who does the same should expect the same. That is true even for reporters in the "States".
