Black vs. Chrome tripod legs?
I know this may be random but I'll be investing in a nice new pair of sticks (tripod). From your experience which holds up better cosmetically...black or chrome tripod legs. I know with wear and tear and all that, they can get damaged. Oh and which do you think looks better? Thanks for your short replies.

I have 3 tripods that are all black - a Manfrotto 3221WN/501, a Miller DS-5 and a smaller Manfrotto 719B for my still camera. After lots of trekking around will all of these, the black finish is holding up fine.
Personally, I think black looks far better and calls less attention to you. But if you find a fantastic deal on a silver tripod it might be worth considering. |
Black looks better, but polished aluminum holds up better. Go with carbon fiber if you can afford it(best of both worlds).
