I had bubble levels I glued to the fluidhead and was adjusting the legs. I eventually got the Manfrotto quick leveller. Worth every cent, especially for HDV, where the wide aspect immediatly shows EVERYONE your 'pod is crooked! It is exceptionally important on non-level ground.
