XL2 Time-lapse From Anatolia

Here is my first time lapse try with XL2. Notice the hazy atmosphere in the first scene.

And here is another try with the volcano Erciyes. A short one with two different footage stitched together. One constant time lapse and aanother is a zooming one.

What do you think?

Welcome aboard Burak.

I enjoyed both clips a lot. The soundtrack with first clip was exceptionally beautiful and appropriate to the landscapes and skyscapes ... typical of ancient Indo-european music at it its best.

Burak,

A great first post!!

I agree with brendan here, the first one was awesome. I was impressed how you kept the pace uniform throughout the different clips. I thought the pace was perfectly matched to the music!!

curiously did you expand the frames in post or did you use after effects with some of the new time tools they are supposed to have (I have not used them or even know if they are better).

Hey, welcome to DVinfo Burak!

Very nice stuff..

Loved the first one! As said, the music went with it nicely.

Burak, great footage you have there! Just wondering, did you do any time laps on the XL2 (which I mean is missing on the XL2, but XL1 had that function), or did you speed the footage in post?

Burak Erginer August 20th, 2007 06:05 AM

Thank You All

Thanks for welcome and the positive feedback

Johan, I don't shoot with interval recording mode. I speed them up in editing. don't use any presets at all. And Dale, These are transitions effects in Adobe premiere. I also used gamma correction in Levels.
Thanks for the feedback again.
