Audio is Definitely Improved
The Joshua Tree video has more depth now in its audio program. The birds and wind and the touch of reverb on the flute help it contribute more to the overall mood. There were some birds I didn't recognize and there was something making a low buzzing sound a few times. How would it be to throw a rattlesnake in there, to make sure no one was falling asleep?

Steve,
Glad you enjoy the revision — I'm very happy with it. I don't know all the birds in the track, either; I just know they were there on those days. I hope that the buzz you hear is caused by insects. The flute itself buzzes a little at times, too. I'll pass on the rattlesnake idea, though; that's a little more dramatic than I had in mind for this film. Besides, I don't have any rattlesnake footage from Joshua Tree. It's funny, but I hardly ever come across a rattler in the desert; I don't know what it is —other people see them all the time. Maybe it's my aftershave! Anyway, with only a 2 minute running time, if I can put people to sleep with this there may be a sizable market for it. Thanks again. Best, Peter www.parkfilms.com |
Nice job, Peter. The new sound track works well--the nature sounds and the flute complimenting one another.
