Epic Sport u/w housing for HF10

Hi everyone.
I'm thinking of buying this Epic underwater housing
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...o_Housing.html
for my Canon HF100 camcorder. Need your thoughts on it. Has anyone had experience with this brand/model. Or, if anybody could suggest a different low budget housing for snorkeling/surfing wich fits HF100 it would be very much appreciated

Thanks.

Aquatix International Water Housings

Hello!

I see you in the market for a low budget housing and let me give you some insight to another housing with the same principle in mind but with much better build and quality. Long ago I owned an Aquatix International Water housing. They are handmade by order and they are completely robust and durable. They feature the cylindrical housing shape and can be custom built to the size of your camcorder. Best of all you have three choices which dictate what video controls you have at hand without the price of a full custom housing. Check them out! I honestly think they are 100 times better than EPIC water housings but worth the difference in price.

Thanks Mike.
Thanks for the link. I've checked it out. It looks like they offer nice, solid built gear for a reasonable price. Unfortunately it's too late for me now. I ordered Epic Sport just yesterday and it's been shipped from B&H this morning. We'll se what that is. I wanted to try my HF100 underwater before the summer is over so was kind of in a rush to buy a housing. We'll see how it works.

Stas: ...let me know how you like it. I'm building one to leave on a tripod in shallow water so my kitesurfing buddies can film themselves... Yours may be safer if it gets knocked over. I use a little WP Sanyo without fear, but the Canon is expensive to soak in saltwater.

Your Welcome!

My pleasure! I just wanted to put Aquatix out there because I did have a little issue with my housing and the customer service was phenomenal. They took in my water housing and gave me a credit towards a new one because I was concerned about having it "fixed." Needless to say the new one worked flawlessly and I'm one happy customer! Best of luck with the epic housing let us know how it works and post some video! Vimeo works well with posting HD video!!
