Mike,

finally got past some real computer issues and projects and had a chance to see your elk,

the page does not function for me, figures.

Hello Mike,

Thanks for sharing. I love filming nature and you probably feel the same way about feeling lucky to witness and document.

I like the presentation. Very fitting of the stature of the Elk.

I do have a few constructive thoughts and please let me say this is not to be negative but just my observation:

If this is your business, I would consider using a longer lens. The footage here shows the Elk, but lacks the intimacy that only a long lens can bring.

As you probably know, the footage of the calf is over exposed and might change opinions of your service depending on the client.

Having every clip in slow motion seems to become redundant and takes away from the impact of slow motion. Maybe mix it up with some real time and some slo-mo for the impact shots. (I understand your might only have glimpses and need to strech footage, but this become more evident if everything is slowed down).

Best of luck and I hope my comments are taken in a spirit of advancement and not criticism.

I have to disagree with the long lens advice as this footage is not anything real intimate to begin with. Had it been bugling bulls, bulls mixing it up or even a rutting slobbering bull then perhaps some tight intimacy would be appropriate.
The juvenile exiting the stream is over saturated not over exposed as seen in the color and hue. The adult and juvenle seem to get lost in the scene where they are in the tall grass field.
I agree that all slo mo seems a little boring. The best scene of the entire clip is the two Bulls near the end. Great exposure and sharp. It shows the environment they live in as well as the Bulls. Too bad they were just standing around as some action or interaction between them would have been nice.
