Filming through Endoscopes.

I have an Everest Videoscope and it working fine and until now there have not come a better quality of videoscopes. The problem is that the camera on the tip is 4:3 and SD so now I am considering an straght endoscope with a C-mount or mount for a DSLR for recording HD video. Anyone here have any experiencies with that - will the recorded picture from the endoscope be round or fill the full frame ?
What about light ? - there cannot possibly get much light back to the camera with the low millimeters on the lens.

Hi Bo,

Get in touch with Adam Schmedes, he is based in Denmark and might be able to give some advice on sources there.
