Hi Juha,

I spend a lot of time trying to make my pans and tilts smoother. Now you have made a great little film without a single camera movement. Very refreshing - well done.

Fantastic! What camera(s) did you use?

Thanks for the comments. I have very bad panning skills, so I have to shoot only static shots.

Cameras used are Sony HVR-Z7 and Panasonic SD700.

In my mind, a short video is less than one minute. It is amazing how many people will view a 30 sec, video and skip over a 3 min video. Short is good, shorter is best.

Ken..... short message.

Juha,

I enjoyed it and I don't necassarily agree with Ken in this instance, you may have been able to cut a bit of time off, but not much, and with the subject of wildlife, those that view it and enjoy it, don't mind taking a bit of time to view it, my humble opinion. :)

However, from my point of view there are two things, 1 minor, 1 major!

Minor, maybe try and incorperate some fades as opposed to all cuts into your little film.

Major; That bird, it needs some serious counselling, I'm certain it has a personality complex and thinks it's a Penguin, you need to get it help before it discovers its not, and has a breakdown!!!!! lol :)

Well done.

Al

Very nicely done!! I know how much work it is to get footage keeping the camera static!!!

I do not like videos made for the attention deficit!!!

this one is real nice and it could be even longer in my book.

The music was outstanding for this video.

you have done a fine job here and \i look forward to seeing more of your work!!

You might consider joining in on the UWOL Chellenge, good people and great feed back!!

thank you for sharing!!

Good work.

I do not agree with Alan. I would not bring in more fades. In the contrary, the few fades you made in the film are not necessary at all. The static shots with hard cuts work out well.

Well done!
