There was another copy of BMK_UC5_SOON.mov uploaded but it was only 85k
The previous one is 31.8 meg. Not sure if there is an issue because it was attempted to upload or not.
I just move them to the right directory after they've been uploaded. I deleted the 85k version since that would have to be an awfully short film. :)

Meryem, can you check the 31.8 meg file?

Good Morning Kevin:

After 12 hours and numerous failed attempts all I was able to do was upload 55% of the file. Please delete or better yet move it back to the upload and I can resume loading. If that's not possible please delete and I will start again.

Sorry for the confusion, my internet service is well...not the best.

Kevin,

As my entry was down loading we had a breif brown out enough to stop the stove clock. It appeared the computer kept on going.

would you please check and see if it downloaded completely.

Dale, I'm sure it did. When the uploads complete CyberDuck changes it from a document icon to a QuickTime icon. If it's incomplete then it usually stays a document icon.

But maybe Meryem can download it and see if everything is ok.

My goodness! Where are all the films? It's Saturday before the deadline and we have 11 up? Are we all pushing it to the limit on this one? I know I did! Kevin, Mat and Meryem... hope this doesn't make you burn the midnight oil with all of us slipping our clips in just under the gun!

I'm looking forward to watching lots of fabulous films.

I'm still working on mine, but will hopefully upload within the next 24 hours! The deadline is still within monday 24. worldwide, could you please confirm, Meryem?

Looks like many don't manage to get in any entry this round! But I hope that we got many more before the deadline.

yes, the deadline is midnight anywhere in the world on monday the 24th. which i am not staying up to police! (wink wink) because i have to schlep my daughter to school at 8 am the next day.

my feeling about this round is that, even though some of our top shooters are ending up in the tank, we are going to have some amazing entries. it's interesting, because i think a lot of folks were hoping to shoot footage of the big animals, but now that it's here, we're realizing how challenging it is. shooting mammals is a bit tricky, innit? even with an extra weekend....

i'm not concerned about the lower number of entries, because this is easily the toughest theme...the one that everyone *thought* they wanted!

we don't call it a Challenge for nothing!
