I just got hooked up with dvinfo. and have never done something like this.
sounds like a lot of fun. I'm using a Canon HG-10 and Vegas 7. My hope is to find others using the same gear so I can pick their brains.

And lots of fun it is! (That's the rule #11!)

I hope to be in and start shooting some stuff though anything to do with the four seasons and mountains and valleys are a tough thing to get in this small little concrete jungle.

I must say that I am very motivated by all of the excellent movies I see come from the members of this forum! The idea of throwing my hat in the ring to give it a try is very tempting and exciting. Like a first date or going to take my driving test. While typing this, I keep thinking about the old song... the Hokey Pokey. I put my left foot in... I take my left foot out... I put my left foot in and then I join the UWOL thread! :) I guess with that said, I will give this my best first UWOL effort.

Boy oh boy! I hope we get a topic where I can use Dogs in my film. I keep thinking that if I ever get off my butt and make a film about dogs, then it would have to be something to do with Border Collies.

The UK weather has been a bit wet and windy this winter, not even any pretty snow.

The most significant wild animal I've seen recently was a rat, very briefly, three weeks ago. Oh to live in Norway or anywhere more interesting.

This could very well be the first sighting of a shark tank 40 miles inland in Ireland...!
