My you guys are daring! I so hope I check tomorrow morning and all 38 are entered! Out of forty entered 7 are up with Annie and Adrinn in the tank ( :(, I'm so sorry you two!). Midnight has either happened or is looming and 31 still to go! You guys have nerves of steel. Post your films up! I'm so excited to see what you have pulled off this time!

Thank you, I'm relieved! Looking at the sign up thread it says deadline midnight, October, 19 anywhere in the world...

It must have been changed somewhere else and I missed the thread...

If it's the 21st, so be it, I'll sleep better tonight...

Yes I know it seems like just yesterday that UWOL started but the next challenge, UWOL 11, yes number 11 is just around the corner. Sign-up has begun and the signup deadline is September 31st.

Theme Announcement: October 1st

Production deadline: October 21st, (midnight anywhere in the world)

I had the 19th on my calendar for some reason,this is the best news I have gotten all day!

Now I can get some sleep!

I also thought it had to be wrapped up on the Sunday 19th
Sunday, there I was tapping away thinking it was nearing the end.

Well, the sign-up thread says the 19th. So, I don't know which is accurate.

Uploading problems
 

It looks like I am not capable to upload my film.
The problem is that I do not understand what the problem is.

The film was uploaded two days ago.
The status window showed "Transfer complete!" and I was happy.

When I today look at the list of uploaded films ,to my surprise,I cannot find my uploaded film.

File size: 41.4MB (Mega Bytes)
Picture size: 428X240

Can someone please tell me what I have done wrong?

Finn-Erik, the upload list is not instantly updated. Check in again tomorrow, and I´m sure Kevin has it updated. (Notice that the deadline is midnight the 21. so you still have time to re-upload if anything is wrong.)
Also, if you deside to upload again, make sure you use the exact same file name as the first time, and the new one will just overwrite the previous uploaded film.

I hope you are right. However, after two days of waiting I am a bit anxious that my film has failed to reach the UWOL Challenge. It is of course not the end of the world if I doesn't, but I would regret it very much if it was because I did not report signs of error.

I have now moved the file from my mac (safari) to my pc (explorer).
The uploading looks better. I got 100%.

Kevin,

I made some small changes to my entry and I want to re-upload. When I did it last night I called it 20_UC11_A_Hidden_Nook_by_The_Brook.mov, but I see on the list it is called 20_UC11_AHiddenNookByTheBrook.mov. How should I name it so there is no confusion?

Oliver,

It's out of the upload directory so when you upload the new file, I'll see it in the upload directory and replace it.

Aslom they are time stamped so I can tell that way too. :)

I've just been renaming the files as the title should be all lowercase with no space or underscores.

So when they get moved, I update them.

So send the new one and I'll post here when I see it.
