I see you are all having fun of sorts!!!!

My original theme has been squashed by weather that wont let me get the shots I need. I have about 20 seconds of useable stuff.

However I have a couple minutes of other footage that is a bit of a stretch for the theme, "the little things".

So I thought I might enter a non competitive two minute wildlife oriented video.

With only a couple days left there are not many options available here, not even flowers or bugs to film!!

Whats the "Bill" quote, "greatest plans of mice and men?"

Hey Dale I suspect you've had weather like I've had, though you may have got more snow. I think you could go alot of ways with this theme and they don't all have to be "little". Anyway I wouldn't sweat the little things!

I finished my film, but I needed to put in some more archive shots, so its a non competing film from me this round. It's also 4 minutes... I put up a coment thread when the rest of the films go online.

It seems we've all been at battle with the weather. Down here in the South Pacific we've just had the summer that wasn't. So now it's autumn, we've put the clocks back. Darkness creeps up on me far too early.

Well, upshot is I've had the camera out for testing various features and some new lenses, and was unable to allocate time to put together a shoot. I wrote a script, filmed a couple of elements as tests, and didn't have a weekend available to actually shoot the script.

So I'm sorry I wasn't able to participate in the Small Things challenge.

It will be interesting to see what other folks have put together - that will be fun!

Back to the shark tank for me. If I don't get something major done early, I always end up busy in the last week and can't do a last minute effort. Was also my busiest month at work since starting, but that's just finding excuses.

But I did get a good idea for something, just have to wait until breeding season for one of our local (1hr drive) frogs - it's probably the only way I'll find them. So in Oct/Nov I'll have to follow that up.
