Much of the time, viewing this again, I'm still astonished at how poorly I can judge the scale of your scenery; right up to the closing scene I can't be sure I'm seeing distant cabins half-buried in snow or some discarded tea-chests up close. The raven that takes the last curtain call seems suddenly familiar and reassuring.

Brian,
I enjoyed the raven footage in particular. I live in rotten cold, right now we have horizontal snow cruzing by the house, everything is hunkered down, and the roads are empty. I had a thought I shuda thunked before. I think if we pulled the fluid head apart and coated everything with graphite we would not have the stiffening of the video head. I may try that this weekend. |
Nice work Brian. I live in a "winterwonderland" myself, and the raven is an old bird we find in the old mythology of the vikings. It's a beautiful bird.
I also liked music together with the scenes you've captured, peaceful and quiet. Very nice work. |
