Best way to color correct HD footage

I am in the midst of switching over to HD (currently shoot and deliver in SD).
1. Upgraded my system from HT 3.4 PC to 2.66 Quad Cor MAP PRO
2. 1.75 TB of storage (250 GB main drive), 500 GB storage drive, 1TB Raid 0 Striped array.
3. 8 GB of RAM
4. Bootcamp installed and running Sony Vegas
5. Purchased and learning Final Cut Studio to edit on native OSX platform
6. Dell 24' 2407WFP monitor
6. JVC TM-A101GU 10" Color Production Monitor http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...roduction.html

I am looking at picking up a couple of Sony V1U's, and for the time being my dleivery will mainly be 16:9 SD DVD's.

Now my question.
Would I still be able to accurately color correct usnig my JVC monitor and either Vegas or mainly FCP6.

I was looking either at the AJA Kona LHe card or the Blackmagic Decklink or Intensity route.
If I go Decklink then I do know that I would most likely want to pickup a HDMI plasma monitor that I would use for CC work (but trying to avoid this).

So given that I will be capturing in HDV format, editing in HD format, but resing down to SD for DVD delivery, would my current montitor setup be acceptable for CC work?

You can get damn close with that monitor but I suggest a different one anyways. SD ones are great but that one specifically has low rez. I bought one with the highest rez I could find (700 lines) and it shows trust me. Its more $$$ but if your judging your final footage with it, its worth it.

Btw, ide axe the idea for the V1's, haven't heard much good from them. Look at the Canon A1 instead....just my opinion.
