Please recomend an HD TV!
Hi, I'm interested in getting a 32 or 26ish inch HD TV. I'll probably get a PS3 to go with it. Could anyone recomend something? I'd like to spend around $600, and I'm looking at Samsung.
Some people say I should wait a year till they are 1.3 instead of 1.2 -whatever that means. Any recomendations will be appreciated! |
Hi Aric.
I would recommend the Vizio 32 inch LCD HDTV. Its got a lot of nice features, and is in your price range. I own this TV, and a friend of mine just got one for himself due to being so impressed by it. Good luck. ~Gabriel |

Just in case anyone wanted to read about 1.3
The Vizio seems to be a great TV... I haven't heard any complaints on it... |

Vizio sounds good, one thing I forgot to mention is that motion is the most important thing to me (next to $). Does the Vizio handle motion well? I want to avoid jitter/stutter/strobing type stuff. |
I ended up getting a 32" Sharp aquos. I talked best buy down to $699. But I got in a fight with the salesman, cause he showed me an SD 16:9 picture all squished and distorted (circles were fat ovals). When I fixed it, he told me there was something wrong with my eyes and my brain -that guy must've been blind.
The selling point for me was the 6ms refresh rate. |
Aric,
Nice buy. I paid $200 more last year. I think you are really going to be happy with it. DVDs look great. The only downside IMO is that channel changing is slow. But, I have gotten used to it. |
What DOES 1.3 mean?

I think best buy ripped me off. Two people there told me I could use the 1.3 hdmi cable. I bought it, but I saw some specs for the 32" sharp aquos and it said it supports 1.2!
Should I return the cable? Can I utilize the 1.3 with these TV? |
