Should I use a Sony 8045 or a consumer hdmi monitor with mxo2?

The 8045 is a great monitor, but it's only SD. It depends if you need the pixel-for-pixel accuracy of a true HD monitor. I do the majority of my editing using a larger Sony SD monitor, and I have no complaints about it. That said, I am planning to upgrade to an HD LCD. Even still, for colour correction, it's hard to beat a good CRT!
