lost chroma on my monitor

just got an ikegami TM14-17R color monitor about 7 months ago.
out of the blue last week, from one power up to the next, I lost all chroma. no tube burn out, ive seen that, plus all 3 tubes at the same time? no way.
change all the inputs around (have 3) and no change.
any tricks/troubleshooting ideas before i ship it back?

What input are you using? Missing R & B inputs on component would dp that. If S-video it could be chroma connection on connector - check for bent pin. Try composite in!

Yeah, I paniced a few days ago when the same thing happened. I was using component video and a little troubleshooting isolated the problem as a bad cable. Actually it's pretty ironic - I've always avoided the "monster cables" but this was one time when I thought I should get them, and probably the only time I've seen a cable suddenly fail for no apparent reason...
