Panasonic 7" LCD Monitor on XL1s
 

I've read several posts recommending this, but I'm left with a couple questions. any info would be great.

I have an XL1s that I'm powering using an NRG battery belt (when not using an AC outlet). I want to buy the panasonic monitor, but have read a few posts suggesting a conversion is necessary to run off of battery power. Is there a way to power it from my battery belt?
Also, will the TC7-CAM Connection kit allow me to connect it to the camera (video as well as physical mount) or do I need something else/more?
