Acer AL 2416Ws for HDV editing?
 

Hi everyone,

I wonder if any of you has seen the new Acer widescreen monitor. It is cheap (about $1000 here in Europe) has full HDV resolution 1920x1200, and is quite fast (16/6 ms) but has only a DVI input. Would it work for editing? Or would it be better to save some money and go for the new Dell 24"? I would not be using the monitor for camera output, only as a preview monitor.
