cheap, small component distribution amp

We needed a little portable component splitter/distribution amp for using with our little 8" SWIT and 17" LCD (for immediate verification monitoring) when we do crane/tripod work in the field. We'll use the component dongles off our Sony's into the D/A, then take one to the SWIT (no component pass thru...) and other to big LCD in our video/audio cart. Reviews are instant and easy this way! Especially with the V1U.

It had to be small, tough, 8~18 DCV and only needed two component outputs. I think we found a good USA source for only US$59.95 here:

Here's their specs on this little guy:
  • HDTV Analog Distribution Amplifier (DA). RGB/YPbPr (3-channel) Distribution Amplifier.
Spit any component video signal without degradation.
Each output has its own High-Current Cable Driver.
High current output IC's drive very long cables (> 300') easily. No interaction with other outputs.
Will accept any analog input, Composite Video, Y/Pb/Pr or R/G/B at any scan rate and give you 2 identical High Bandwidth (200MHz) outputs.
All Connectors are Gold Plated RCA.
Great for Automotive video applications. Wide DC power supply range (8-18 VDC).
Use as SPDIF/AES-EBU (Digital Audio) DA to split PCM, DTS or AC3 Digital Audio.
Power Supply (12VDC) Included. Actually MADE IN THE USA!!!
Perfect as a Broadcast Utility DA at a fraction of the cost.

Any negative opinions or comments? We should know if it makes it thru the mail to Brazil...
