Hey all,

To continue my posts in the same wedding. Here is the photo shoot:

To put it in context, it starts just after they've left the church, so there's a little preamble using natural sound before the music comes in. And the last shot looks kind of uninteresting because in the full video it doesn't actually end, but moves directly into the reception action.

Again, I'm using more 'candid' type shots, but this section is supposed to be much more romantic in look and feel so it's not as documentary an approach as the bride and groom preps I posted earlier. Great place to shoot in as well. Old Montreal is absolutely jammed with beautiful locations. We caught a guy filming us from inside a cooking school, and he was nice enough to let us come in to shoot as well. Kind of fun.

Hey Vito,

I like it, it is romantic, the music is perfect and I like how you asked the Bride to say " See you at the reception", I will copy that in my next shoot (Thanks in advance). It's a perfect segway from Photo Shoot to the Reception. Thanks for sharing.

Copy away! I always try to get the bride/groom/somebody to say goodbye or something whenever we change locations. It helps in the edit. And I always set up some kind of goodbye shot at the reception to use for the end of the video. Nothing too stagy. Could be as simple as asking them to wave bye bye while they're dancing.
