My First Wedding
 

Here's my first wedding - my friends Kaci and Roy who got married on Sept. 26.

I don't have the reception done yet (one of the guests ran off with my field recorder, and I need that...) but the ceremony is done.

I don't know - it's certainly not professional quality, but I think it has it's own charms.

It was filmed with a Canon T1i (at 720p30) (I've since upgraded to the 7D) as the main cam, with the Canon HG20 as backup. Audio was recorded using a Samson Zoom H4n, Samson Zoom H2, Sennheiser EW/SW100 wireless lav, Audio Technica AT875 and a Juicedlink Pre-amp & Mixer. (as well as the onboard sound of the T1i)

The ceremony was at the Cathedral of Junk in Austin, TX.

Hi Brian, I just finished watching Part 5 and I will just make a couple of comments. You did a good job controlling exposure however, you desperately need a good fluid head tripod. It looks like you are seriously tripod "challenged". Think smooth with all of your camera motions.

Yeah - it was definitely a problem; though my tripod's usually more fluid than that...

I think one of the big deals was that I was using the 70-300m lens with that shot, and I was around 40 ft. away.
