From Toronto to Miami to Bahamas

On Valentine weekend, we flew from Toronto to Miami and then took a cruise to Bahamas for a pre-wedding video for a client.

As we are currently working in producing the teaser as Save the Date, here is a little summary of our trip.

We made some great friends with our collaborative photographers and of course with clients and had a blast

Always welcome feedback.

Hi Jawad.

Did you use any form of stabilisation?

I wanted to like it, but it was way too shaky for me, and many shots were not in focus, or constantly coming in and out of focus.

The focus throw with the ring did not work. You need to hold the shot longer at the start and finish, and it was also not executed right.

I find the problem with dslr filming is you really need to be on your game and have adequate tools for the job. It really cannot be used handheld IMHO.

Looks like a great place though!

Thx for sharing.

Yeah, a little shaky, a little too out of focus, for me too. Also, not sure I liked the 'Miami' filter from Magic Bullet...just because it was Miami...

Thanks guys for comments.

On those shots, no I didn't. This was very much a documentary of the trip hence intentionally shaky and playing with different things.

I am just in process of completing Save the Date where mono pod and Glidecams were used.

John, I would welcome additional tool suggestions.

Thanks
