Belgian Pre-Wedding.

Hey guys,

I just made a pre-wedding for a belgian couple.
They will have their wedding next week 15/05/10 and they wanted to show
it on their wedding party for their guests.
Their wedding theme is : "Boer zoekt Vrouw"
This is dutch for : "Farmer searches Wife".
That was tv show here in Belgium in which a farmer was in search for a wife.
And while the guy from the couple is from a farmers family they choose that theme
and I made a small movie around it.
For those who don't understand dutch. There are 2 sentences in the movie.

"Boer zoekt vrouw" = Farmer searches Wife
"Boer heeft vrouw gevonden" = Farmer has found a Wife.

Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Greetz, Bart

I was convinced that Belgians were boring but this pre-wed proved me wrong, are you sure they are not from another country? ;)
Well, I liked your video, especially because I know that in Belgium it's difficult to find clients willing to invest into something "different" then a plain wedding video, you really must tell me your secret. :)
I find it refreshing to see this creative approach from a Belgian wedding videographer, what might seem very normal in the states is not that common here.
Eventhough the music you choose is not something I would associate with farmerslife it did fit very well with the filming and editing style, fun to listen at and to watch. (and funny at moments, especially the bike chase :))
What also contributed to the feel of the film was the way the couple acted, natural and not forced at all, must be fun to work with people like that.
Did you work with a 35mm adapter or a dslr? I can see that focusing exactly right was sometimes a challenge but in general it didn't bother me, only the steadicam movements felt in some cases a bit rushed.
Nicely done Bart, I can see from which side of the globe you got your inspiration but since that is not so common here I hope you will succeed in setting a new trend here.
