Ceremony minor audio issues. Sould we Kill the Groom?

Hello partners in wedding video crime.
The following trailer is a perfect example why we need to take more control of some situations. This wedding was filmed last December 31 new years eve by us. Not a big wedding but they were looking for a decent multi-camera video. The ceremony guests were just like 50 people and the groom insisting to use his sax amplifier as speaker instead of the DJ audio set up. Even that we use our lav mics we end up catching the audio coming from the speaker. We noticed the speaker was making the sound and they did not listen to us.

The vows were awesome so I end up using the footage for their trailer anyway and having a good sample demo for future clients to show why they need sometimes to listen our advice.

Enjoy!

Awesome trailer! The color is very good for it being in a dark setting. What camera was used?

Also, the sound isn't TOO bad that it isn't usable (which is good), but I agree on taking a bit more charge of the Audio - after all, they ARE paying you to be there and you want to get the best audio/video as possible (something I personally need to address that)..

Nonetheless, it looks great!

Thank you Roger.
I am totally agreed with you. That was the main idea of bringing this short trailer in this forum.
To show how minor details can do a difference in the final product.
the best!
Jose
