Ryan + Lindsay: Hershey Kiss

Just finishing this for the client and would like opinions on it before delivering it to them. I am still working on getting rid of some of the shaky stuff in my weddings. Thanks!

Good stuff, beautiful wedding. I really enjoy how you edit. Things I noticed,
Audio- Ambient seems like its competing with the music at times. Maybe drop it down a bit so that the music becomes a backdrop(flash at 1:03 for example). When they are doing their vows, its a little jarring with the music goes away, maybe just drop it down so you can hear the vows.

At 1:03 a little prodad will help with the rocking. Or if you are using prodad, make sure the rolling option is unchecked.

At 1:10, looks like your stabilization software is not configured correctly. Turn off the zoom settings. What are you using to smooth things out? It shouldn't jump like that. Watch your highlights, are you using a neutral profile on a canon? If you are, then under expose so that you keep the sky. Always expose for your highlight in broad daylight. Indoors or at reception, expose for the darks (to minimize noise).

Great steadycam work at 1:20, feels like an expensive crane shot.

2:07 some more skipping/jarring footage. 2:12 is pretty blown out, maybe replace the footage.
2:24 Fantastic!
2:48 is blown out and skips a little. I think its the settings in the software though, I recognize that glitchy look.
Flash at 3:10 neublu efx has a good flash remover app.
Are you using noise reduction software, looks really clean at the end.

Thanks for the response Greg. I've obviously got a ton to learn and I enjoy doing it.

Forgive my ignorance but I'm not sure what Prodad is. Please inform me.

I'm not sure what is wrong with the stabilization there. I used the Smoothcam plugin in FCP.

I'm glad you liked that Glidecam shot. I managed to get that with my glidecam 4000 even tho I was shooting with a broken left arm that day, so I was glad to see it turn out well.

This was shot in Faithful mode on the 7D and 60D.
