Jason, thanks! That was a Raynox cheap semi fish eye adapter.
It was both, storyboard the shoot and spontaneous. It was also both, make a location list and wander around finding good shots:D

Regarding the Raynox, have you liked the visual quality of those? I hear rumblings on other boards that only the Century Optics are any good, but I don't know that my shooting & cinematography is superior enough for the small differences to matter. Also, is that lens a zoom through so you can tailor the barrel distortion to taste? |
