This is my latest effort, the couple were great fun and the wedding was a blast. Critique appreciated.

Thanks

anyone?....

Dan - not sure if I was crazy about the text at the begining but overall the piece was short and sweet and I liked it. Nice job!

Watch that you don't over use zooms. I think the first 3 or 4 shots were all zooms. My personal taste is that I detest them 98% of the time.
The pace and feel weren't bad and I love the guy blowing flames at a wedding.

I liked it... great choice of music.

As a wedding videographer in his first full year of filming, I would like to say that I really liked the clip. It gave me alot of great ideas....thanks

Nice piece, have to agree that the zooms were used a little too much for my taste. Loved the shot panning across the bride and groom however it happened a little too fast, slowing it down or starting a bit forward in the footage would have worked nicer.

Maybe mixing up with static, panning and zoom would make it feel more complete?

great shot with the fire blower!

Sure they will love it.

I had no problem with the text. All in all, it did have a very nice and upbeat flow. I'm sure the couple liked it.

Don't know what cam you used but if it has a zoom ring, use it. Avoid using the rocker.

I'm not sure why, but the opening scenes (stills?) and the titles were noticeably aliased. Also I would try to keep, for example your fades to white within the letterbox matte. Maybe you downconverted for capture? I don't what you cut with but you could apply a 16x9 letterbox matte on a upper track to accomplish this. Overall, nice effort.

Ok... I must be losing my mind. I re-watched the vid & this is not the same one I commented on. Did I reply to the wrong post again? DOH! Second time this week!
