I agree. I rarely get this shot close up and unobstructed, and I've never had a complaint! I find that it's the spirit of the experience captured through the audio that makes the shot.

For some clients, it may be incredibly important - for mine, they see my work and never bat an eye.

Have you (plural) experienced clients that mention that you did not get that shot like they wished?

Not from clients... since I shoot mostly freelance. But I've worked for a couple of companies in the past that got a tad huffy about it since they're one of those that are so hell bent on getting it :D

I don't think the majority of clients would even think of this, unless of course the company they hired made such a big tadoo during a demo presentation about how they always get that shot and/or it's one of their "signature" shots, which to me is ridiculous. (Yes I was told that once by someone I've shot for) :-\

Thx for your opinion, that's what we've been doing, but I think most of the time, you can really see the ring. Althought, no client had complient so far, I still hope we can improve it some how.

while it would be nice to have, we can paint ourselves in a corner making promises that don't matter to the client! then, they DO matter! d'oh!
