Conference/Speaker shooting tips

Hello everyone,

I've only recently started filming conferences and speakers for businesses. I've found that getting great quality is often quite difficult because obviously you can't wheel in much, if any lighting gear and the venues they take place in often have huge windows and the light is constantly changing.
During the last shoot, because it took place in the early morning, the light and therefore the white balance gradually got knocked out. I have another early morning shoot coming up soon and would really like some advice or directing to useful resources that may help.
I shoot on a Canon XL2, and have a roaming XL1 for cutaways.

Thank you all

Ryan
