For the price I think there fantastic, very sturdy legs, a nice weight to it.

You can remove the head which is great for the glidetracks. Fluid head, no rewind. Do need to tighten the screw though to stop it tilting if you have a heavy load (FX1 with large battery and light can be pushing your luck).

Quick release is pretty solid too.

I have no doubt a £600 Manfrotto will be more sturdy but for the task at hand its great, all the features we could want and the size means its portable.

Its like the Sony EX1 is better than my FX1 but the FX1 suits my needs.
