Honestly, I don't think having brides pay after their wedding is going to net you any more business. Sure they will take it if offered. But if that's the only way a bride will take the deal, then it's probably not a safe bet that they will have the money to pay you off 2 months after the big day.

Absolutely 100% agree. AAMOF, IMO if you wait until after in todays economy, you stand a real good chance of being burned bad. I know a couple of guys it's already happened too.
While there are some here who business model is based on finalpayment after the wedding most wedding professionals (read any vendor IE, video, photo, DJ/band, caterer) require payment up front at least 7 to 10 days before the wedding and I agree, delaying payment is not going to garner any business worth having.
But what do I know. I'm just a video-O-grapher
