For those who want to try Facebook for advertising...

You can get a $100 credit for advertising if you use this application:

The Visa Business Network | Facebook

I used it and it worked for me!

Enjoy!

Anyone else getting an error?

"Error while loading page from The Visa Business Network
There are still a few kinks Facebook and the makers of The Visa Business Network are trying to iron out. We appreciate your patience as we try to fix these issues. Your problem has been logged - if it persists, please come back in a few days. Thanks!"

Thanks! Are you suppose to see the $100 credit in your Billing Sources page? I entered the coupon code but still do not see anything yet..

Cole McDonald March 11th, 2009 11:53 AM

My first reaction was that this would be a phishing scam... but there's legit news associated with it - I'm still a bit cautious:

Visa brings small business networking to Facebook - USATODAY.com

working now - I'm signed up!

Aaron Mayberry March 11th, 2009 01:42 PM

Yeah, my account is accredited and everything. I got an email with the coupon, even though I got the error.

What exactly did I sign up for?

You got yourself $100 worth of advertising.

There was a thread about facebook ads with detailed explanation how to setup your campain :-)

I'm already down to $60 :-)

Shaun Conner March 11th, 2009 03:10 PM

Just signed up. I see the credit also.

Alex Sprinkle March 11th, 2009 03:47 PM

Can it be used in a few months if I sign up now? I'm still trying to get up and running, and I don't have a website to link to.

Kelsey Emuss March 11th, 2009 06:07 PM

I'm so glad you guys took advantage!

It took a few minutes for my credit to show also.

Click on the Billinmg Source tabe and it should be there showing the new totals as it is used up.

Eric Manacsa March 12th, 2009 01:32 PM

Signed up yesterday and got a click today which led to a serious inquiry via my info form.

Thanks for sharing this.
