You guys are really rocking it here in Oz. Well done. Loved 'em. |
I just watched the second one and I loved it as much as the first!
I thought the audio from the vows should've been featured at 1:48, and I also think your focus pulls could've been quicker. Just my personal preference though, great work. |
Just watched the Same Day Edit, loved it! Great concept and very well executed. I actually watched it 3 times.
The first one though, I didn't like the dirty video look in the flash forward pieces. |
Hi Susanto,
Couple of techo questions. What camera's are you using? How many camera's do you take/use on a wedding shoot? What is your wedding edit length for the client. Thanks Simon |

David: I thought about having the audio, but decided not to for personal taste. Louis: Thanks for your comment and watching it 3 times :) I think what you guys meant by the "dirty" look is the glow effect yea? I have to agree that it may look too "wedding" on it. I was going for the dreamy look, will try other looks next time. Santo |

I definitely liked the second more. I think there is something about having to rush a project that makes you perform better when it comes to editing. When I watched the second one, we coincidentally used the same songs. I think you put together some great shots! Keep it up. How did you manage shooting in such tight spaces? It seems to me that you had to get into a lot of people’s ways. Anthony |
Hi Anthonny,
Thanks for your comment :) I don't know if its a good thing or not if I need to be SDEed in order to perform better in editing LOL I don't really remember whether I was in someone's way or not but I'm very conscious with my environment. I look around a lot when I shoot and make sure I'm not bothering anyone too much. You have to bother someone every now and then... I guess if you don't want to bother anyone, then just shoot from far away on a tripod. forget steadicam, forget slider, forget a lot of things. just bring your tripod, zoom in, and shoot. My thinking everytime I want to take a risky shot e.g. going on someone's way to do a glide, I always calculate whether the shot is gonna worth the cost. If I think that my shot would blow couple away later on and the cost is to cover uncle Bob for 2 seconds, then so be it. Santo |

I have a wedding in the near future where I'm going to attempt an SDE, but the ceremony and reception are back to back. :( Quote:
How many cameras are you running at theses weddings? Are you shooting to CF/SD cards or are you going off of tapes? Anthony |

HD version
Hi guys,
I have re-upload the first "imagine" prewedding film into an HD version and also color graded the second "imagine".. just simple MB though.. Please feel free have a look when you have a chance. Thank you. Santo |
Those were great. I liked the second more, but what a great job. We are in the storyboarding stage for one of our weddings and hope to tell a beautiful story. I think the filmmaker in all of us is allowed to come out and tell incredible stories and Kevin Shahinian just opened pandoras box with his bollywood movie. This just pushes the envelope further to let brides and grooms know that weddings films are not what their parents remember. Great work.

Thanks Jason,
the second one was made just recently while the first one was made a year ago.. I guess I must have made some progress :P Good luck with your wedding film. Santo |
