Projectors

Recntly a Couple asked me that they wanted a live feed of the speeches on the projector... i have a Sony HVR-V1U, could you guys tell me what i would need in order to connect the camera to the projector?

Thanks

IIRC that camera has both RCA and S video connection. Either of those is pretty standard to projectors. Get a long enough cable to get you from the camera position to the projector position plug it in and go.

hey thanks that helpt, I do have another question tho.

The longer my cable is, the worse the signal is...if I have a RCA cable running 25 or 50 feet to the projector, would the footage look utter crap on the screen?

Hey Rishi,

It would lessen the quality but it won't be noticeable, just gaff tape the cable though so someone does not trip on them.

I agree. I've run 50 feet with no problem and have run as much as 100. Not that I recommend that but 50 should be fine.
