Have been offering Blu-Ray since last June, and have had a steady trickle of takers (probably every second wedding). Just had an additional order for 3 Blu Ray copies and 3 normal.
|
I shoot/edit all my weddings in HD - I deliver all my weddings on DVD however all my packages includes a Blu-ray disc, as soon as the Thermal BD-R disc's becomes affordable/available in my area I'll send out the HD versions to all my clients.

Your Right
Your right BUT we never have fallout so the price is good. We have tried others and always lose about 15% when burning.
Have had no luck with my system and that brand. But even so still no reason not to give your bride one for the future. |

Ridata Blu-Ray (BDR-254-RDCB15) BD-R 4X with Ridata logo 30 Pack in Cake Box Thanks for informing me. |
What program are you using to burn the disks?

I use Encor
I use Adobe Encor. It works well. I also make quick ones on Toast 11.

Im still trying to decide if I should get the production premium CS4 or upgrade to the new release of Final Cut Studio or get both.

I'm concerned about "the good, the bad and the ugly" with recordable Blu-ray media. There is a well established experience base with recordable DVD media. Conventional wisdom has it that Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden are the best choices for DVD media. But with BD-R media, the best and worst brands hasn't yet become known.

Have Both
Hi Shaun
Have both, Adobe Premire is very quirky and will frustrate you. Final Cut is less jumpy. Just use encor to produce the video on Blu Ray. Easy learning curve for the menu structure. Never get to fancy for a wedding. I have, and the brides go Ho Hum lets see the video. |
One Blu-ray last year - and that was because the groom is a technology nut but hasn't bought a player yet!
