Thanks Dylan- now keeping in mind I'm the world's slowest editor...it took me around 5 hours from start to finish. Including the time it took to sort through about an hours worth of random short clips taken throughout the entire night.
Some may complain that the bride might want more coverage of the dancing- however all my clients have seen my previous works and the style in which I tackle the non-formals throughout the night. Besides unedited dance footage is available at an extra cost. |
Great editing! Being that I am more of a novice at wedding video, I understand what you are saying about how long the cuts are. Im going to try to shorten my times down for my next event in a few weeks.
Thanks for the tips. Steve |

Nice work. I was impressed that you edited to the beat of the music. This may seem natural to many of us, however, I've seen a lot of editing where the music bed was added last - almost as an afterthought. So I commend you for taking the time to edit to the beat. Not only does it make the whole spot shorter (which the bride and groom will appreciate the 45th time they've seen the wedding video) but it makes the spot much more watchable. good job jes |
