I've had overheating on 24p too. d:-p

The bottom line is these cameras weren't designed for event videographers. They are still cameras with HD video capability. So you're definitely correct, Vito, you better know what you're getting into and what you want from your camera before you jump in. They DO capture an amazing HD video image, but it comes at a price.

My sentiments exactly. I feel sorry for all these new-school videographers who invested in 5Ds and 7Ds as their main cameras, thinking they're going to go out and shoot a 8 - 10 hour wedding.
