Johannes, look on the bright side - at least you won't have to hear again the old saw much beloved by Toastmasters here who ask the groom to place his hand on his new wife’s then remind him that this is the “last time he’ll have the upper hand.”

I know we all have our un-favourite wedding jokes straight from the Dummies Guide to Wedding Speeches but with the one about "rising from a warm seat with a piece of paper in my hand", that's the worst for me.

I don't know why I missed that link the first time! :) This is great stuff! I'd love to shoot a wedding like that, and especially the first dance that will definitely remind something of a horror movie! :)

But I think it's pretty creepy. One of my other "hobbies" is writing and at some point I wrote a small novel (that it's close to publishing) with a guy that does the same thing, but with the difference that he marries to a dead woman (not with the actual dead body though, but in spirit), and after writing the creepy ceremony part, I can't avoid but seeing those news you told us, in a very creepy way too! :)
